Ever wonder who's behind that voice you hear? Meet your Star 93.5 DJs!

Traci Lee

Weekdays 6:00a-9:00a

Hi! My name is Traci Lee and I’m

stoked about being part of the morning

show at Star 93.5! (Except for Russ

playing the guitar and singing it’s a

great gig!) I’ve been in radio since

1996 and I’ve worked at some great

stations around the country, but

Jackson MS is the best by far!

I live in Richland with my sweet Baxter…

He’s the best dog ever (and the cutest!),

my sister Jodi and her dog Oliver.

I love Jesus in the purest form, music, my family, and reality television! Don’t judge! I think I have a crush on Bob from the Biggest Loser, Chris Harrison from the Bachelor, Jim

from the Office and maybe Spongebob.

I love to give shouts out to the "Big Girls" as you can see by

my picture. Who ever decided that "One Size Fits All" and the

person who designed the backless size 28 shirt I saw last week

need to be incarcerated right away.

Shoot me an email and let me know what’s going on with you!

Russ Robinson

Weekdays 6:00a-9:00a

Russ was born in Oxford, Ms in 1954 and

grew up always loving radio. “As long as I

can remember I’ve been practicing

introducing songs”, says Russ. Russ

enjoys spending time with his wife, Alisa,

of 32 years and daughters Krista (26) and

Kara (25) and grandson Maddox (5). Russ

plays golf for fun and is a 15 handicapper.

A graduate of Mississippi College, Russ enjoys

teaching at his alma mater in the area of radio communication. Russ is probably best known

for his Friday Night Under the Lights Scoreboard

Show, which runs statewide in the Fall. What

does Russ want to accomplish before “riding off

into the sunset”?   “I think I would want to be a part of positioning Star 93.5

FM as the Christian radio station people turn to and receive all that the

Lord has for them through the music we play.”

Kristen

Weekdays 9:00a-12:00p

 Hi! I’m Kristen. I’m a 21 year old

Elementary Education major at Mississippi

College. I’m a Junior, but it looks like I’m

going to have a Senior year part 2 (haha)!  I

absolutely LOVE my job and consider myself

extremely blessed. On my show, my goal is

to give my listeners good music with traffic

and weather updates while adding a little bit of

humor here and there with weird news stories.

When I’m not at work, I’m busy spending time

with my family and friends. I love shopping and

playing music, more specifically the piano and

guitar and singing. I’m also active in my church

working with the youth.  My goal in life is to glorify

God in all that I say and do!

Little Dylan

Sundays 7-9pm

Star Countdown: Saturdays 10am; Sundays 12n

I’m Dylan, but around here, they call

me “Little” Dylan. In actuality I’m not

that short, but you know how nicknames can be. I’m the veteran student on the Star staff – on-air since 2006. I will be finishing up my career here this May, but in the meantime, I'm trying something new. Listen in on Sunday nights for the quite experimental Little Dylan Show. New music from wide-ranging genres mixed just for you. Read more about the show on my blog: http://littledylan.wordpress.com. Breaking news and severe weather are still among my passions, so I may occassionally interrupt your music to keep you informed. Don't hate; appreciate.

When I’m not on the air at Star, I am a graduate

student pursuing a Master’s in Applied Communication.

I also broadcast sports for area high schools, the Mississippi

College Choctaws, and the Mississippi Braves.

Trisha

Weekdays 3:00-7:00

Hey what's cracken? I’m Trisha, a 21 year-old

Public Relations major and am too goofy for life.  I love

M&M's, sushi, spaghetti, and ok let’s just go

ahead and say food.  God is my reason for living

and Coca-Cola is definitely a perk!  I love

horseback riding, running, dancing, singing

(very poorly), and performing in plays.  Working

at Star 93.5 is the greatest opportunity for me

because it allows me to talk and that is pretty

much what Trisha does best.  I'm on the Aftenoon

Drive with Cole and we have probably too

much fun.  Disclaimer- there is no telling what

we are going to say so be warned.  Working at

Star gives me the chance to have lots of laughs

and  to share my faith which is the most important part of my life!  I love

hearing from you so feel free to e-mail me at Trisha@star93fm.com or

give us a call during the show at (601) 925-3460!

 Cole

Weekdays 3:00p-7:00p

How you doing? My name is Cole and I co-host the Afternoon Drive with Trisha Monday through Friday 3-7 PM. God has given me both a passion and a love for what I do, and yes there is a difference. My major is Sports Ministry, and God has opened up incredible doors for me

both in school and here at Star. I get to play music

that is "harder" than what you typically hear during the

day which is my favorite kind so I'm completely good

with that. When not in the studio, I can usually be found

at Mississippi Braves games, Buffalo Wild Wings, and

playing ultimate frisbee, football, and every other sport

out there besides water polo and anything that requires

a height advantage because God and everyone else who

has seen me knows I don't have one. Want to hear a song?

Give me a call during the show and I'll work on getting it in.

If you're still reading, you have more time than I do, so stop

wasting it and turn on the radio to 93.5! Give me a call! Adios!

Camea

Saturday 6:00a-10:00a & Sunday 12:00p-3:00p

My name is Camea. I'm going to Mississippi

College and majoring in Broadcasting and

Journalism. I make the most out of absolutely

everything. I love to sing. I love to think. I really

don't like it when people smack. I am really

good at figuring people out. Today, my favorite

color is purple. I like correcting people's grammar,

in my head. I'm very glad At&t got unlimited

texting. American Idol is one show that never

gets old. My eyes tear up when people are mean

to me. I'm very independent, and extremely

competitive. I want to broadcast for Fox News or

ESPN one day. I like to shop. I will become a

marathon runner before I die. I once went an entire

year without carbonated drinks. I love Jesus Christ.

He changed my life. I would be lost without Him. I love to smile.

Josh

Weekdays 7:00-11:00 PM

Hi, my name is Josh Gray (or J-Gray)!  I am a Junior

at Mississippi College majoring in Communications

with an emphasis in Mass Media.  I am so

blessed to be able to work at Star 93.5.  I

currently play golf for MC and also do PA

Announcing and other work in the Athletic

Department on campus.  I am from Ocean

Springs, MS, and am a recent graduate of

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where

I played golf and graduated with a 3.93 GPA.  I

was also the “voice” of MGCCC Basketball during

my two-year tenure at Gulf Coast.  My hobbies

include golfing and playing music, along with

hanging out, leading worship, and designing

golf courses (odd… I know…).  I am a member of

St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs,

but while at MC I will be attending First United Methodist

Church of Clinton, along with some other churches along

the way.  I also serve as the President of the Mississippi

United Methodist Student Movement, which is the voice

of all college Methodist students for the UMC State Conference.

I look forward to delivering Radio For REAL Life to all of you out

there in “Radio Land” as you relax and enjoy your weekends!

Lindsey

Hey guys! I am Lindsey!  I am an Account

Executive – you know, the one you want to

talk to about advertising! I know that I am

completely blessed to work at the coolest

place on earth with the coolest people on

earth! It really doesn’t get any better than

having fun with music for the glory of God.

I have been with Star 93.5 since the fall of

2007. I finished my MS in Communication

here at Mississippi College this past

December; so now that I’m done with school,

when I am not working, I enjoy spending time with friends, family

and my dog, Bentley (the cutest animal on the planet, in case you

were wondering).  I love international missions. I love to laugh. I love

chocolate, peanut butter, strawberries, ok this list could really go

on forever so I’ll just stop now! I pray the Lord’s blessings in your

life and thank you for supporting Star 93.5!

Tony

Saturday 2:00p-5:00p & Sunday 3:00p-8:00p

Hey I'm Tony and I am a Sophomore Nursing Major here

at MC. I am excited to be able to work another year with

Star and look forward to contributing to Star's outreach. I

love music that encourages people and at the same time

worships our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My shift is

on Saturdays, so keep listening and supporting Star 93.5,

"Radio for Real Life".
